Nat’s What I Reckon

Hot Dogs Probably Aren't Real

Nat’s a comedian, noisy musician, mental health advocate, and award-winning, best-selling author who’s been described more than once as a potty mouth.

His comedy has drawn a wonderfully diverse audience of over 4.7 million champions worldwide, with his videos seeing 100’s of millions of views and live shows selling out theatres and comedy festivals in both Australia and across the globe since 2020.

Nat’s new live show Hot Dogs Probably Aren’t Real is an hour-long meltdown of information set out to prove a point.

They aren’t real… or are they? Probably not… but also maybe?

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Comedian, rock musician, mental health advocate and award-winning, best-selling author Nat’s What I Reckon had been creating online content for close to a decade when his early 2020 isolation cooking content rocketed the creator to a new level – blowing up an existing fan base already in the hundreds of thousands to a global following now close to five million.

Coupled with hilarious social commentary, Nat’s sweary message of kindness and inclusivity has resonated with champions the world over, earning him a staggering 300 million views on his videos.

His open and honest approach to sharing his mental health struggles is an important facet of Nat’s platform. Destigmatising these experiences by encouraging conversation, and using his wit to give fellow sufferers a laugh, Nat’s positive impact on the mental health of millions of people cannot be underestimated. In 2022 he took on an ambassadorship role for Beyond Blue’s inaugural Big Blue Table alongside former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard and MasterChef sensation Julie Goodwin, wildly exceeding campaign expectations and leading to an invitation to continue the role in 2023.

Nat has been performing live since 2020, selling out shows at comedy festivals and theatres all over Australia, NZ and the UK. He’s published four books in as many years, collecting multiple award wins and nominations. He has created a board game and launched a podcast with his partner Jules; been invited to guest-program ABC TV’s rage, join a panel and video collab with Briggs at BIGSOUND, and join Courtney Act for an episode of their season of ABC TV’s long-form interview show, Courtney Act’s One Plus One.

When he’s not filming, foraging for rosemary or having strangers ask him how hot it is, Nat can often be found indulging his love of rock n roll, playing in various bands and stand-up comedy rooms around Sydney.

"Brilliant... it’s a packed house and the laughter just keeps rolling." ★★★★★ HiFi Way
