Leave the world behind as you enter a spontaneous and confetti-filled wonderland where Brisbane’s Best in Show perform their special tricks for you.
This late-night pony ride culminates in a roaring dance party, best described as ‘confetti overload at the blue-light disco’. But with Pony Club cocktails and dancing ensembles that everyone’s part of.
Featuring all your variety show favourites – including live music, drag, comedy, circus, dance, cabaret, our famous sing-a-longs, plus many more tricks.
Strap in, dress up, get your glitter on and join the wildest club in Brisbane. All are welcome.

One Trick Pony Club is a multi-artform, community event concept formed by Tony Lathouras and Sarah Ponturo in 2020, and has been famously loved by Brisbane ever since.
Born out of strong passion for entertainment and community arts, and to raise the level of support for local artists, One Trick Pony Club is Brisbane’s chance to come together and celebrate life’s ultimate joy through creative expression.
More than your average evening show, One Trick Pony Club propels you into a late-night variety show where Brisbane’s finest entertainers showcase their talented ‘tricks’. Including singing and instrumental music, stand-up and comedy, circus, dance, acrobatics, drag and all other unique and absurd styles of performance.
Featuring an eclectic mix of local independent performers and a variety of professional and amateur performing arts groups, each act is curated to showcase Brisbane’s finest talent and create an immersive audience experience.
The show offers audiences a welcoming, casual, party atmosphere and joyful celebration—full of surprises. The audience are invited to stand, sit, share a rug, sing loud, dress up, form new friendships, dance or all of the above – whatever comes naturally. All positive forms of expression are welcome at the Pony Club!
