The Tivoli

The Tivoli Theatre is one of Australia’s most beautiful performance venues and is renowned for its art deco features and old-world charm. Originally built as a bakery in 1917, The Tivoli was reborn as a performance space in 1988, and regularly plays host to Australia’s and the world’s musical and comedy heroes.

Public transport


The closest bus stops are The Old Museum (Bowen Bridge Rd) or the Jubilee Hotel (Saint Pauls Tce at Constance Street).


Fortitude Valley station is the closest train station to The Tiv. Exit onto Brunswick St and turn right, walking away from the Valley Mall.


Costin St is a one-way street with a loading zone right outside the venue. The rideshare services UBER and Ola can be accessed via their respective smartphone apps. Yellow Cabs and Black & White cabs can be booked by calling 13CABS.

There is no on-site parking at The Tivoli. You can find some on street parking in the surrounding areas but it’s limited. There is a Secure Car Park and the King Street Car Park close by, both are $10 on weekends and after 4pm and 6pm respectively on weeknights. The RNA Showgrounds Car Park is also just around the corner.
