Brisbane Powerhouse
Mon–Sun 9am–5pm
For performances commencing outside of general Box Office hours, we also open 60 minutes before shows start and stay open until 30 minutes after the start time.
What does concession mean?
If you are a full-time Student, Centrelink Health Care, Pensioner or Government Issued Seniors cardholder, you are eligible to buy your ticket at the reduced price if concession prices are available. Make sure you bring your concession card and ID on the day of the show.
Can I bring children to the performances?
If you are bringing a child older than 12 months to a performance, they will usually require a ticket. Sometimes a presenter may specify a different age cut-off for children requiring a ticket. Please check each show for details.
Can I book with a companion card?
If you have a valid Companion Card, you may be eligible for companion tickets to some shows. If companion tickets are not available, you may be eligible for the concession price if available.
What accessibility options does Brisbane Powerhouse provide?
Accessible seating is offered in all of our theatres for patrons and their companions in wheelchairs or who have special mobility requirements.
AUSLAN shows will be highlighted in the ‘Additional Information’ section of individual shows.
The Powerhouse Theatre and Underground Theatre are equipped with a Sennheiser Infra-Red Sound Reinforcement system which can assist patrons with all levels of hearing impairment.
If you require any assistance with mobility, sight or sound, please contact the Box Office team to discuss any services you may require.
Do you offer group prices?
Group prices are offered on a number of the shows at Brisbane Powerhouse. Look for the group price e.g. $25 (groups 6+). To make a group booking, please phone the Box Office on 07 3358 8600.
What are the ticketing fees involved?
A transaction fee of up to $7.20 applies for all bookings (online, over the phone and over the counter). You will receive a confirmation email when you book online, and a confirmation number when booking over the phone.
The transaction fee is charged per transaction, not per ticket. This means you only pay one transaction fee regardless of how many tickets you buy for an event in a single transaction.
You can add multiple tickets to your basket by clicking on the basket icon and selecting the ‘add more tickets’ option. If you need assistance with this please contact the Box Office.
The transaction fee factors in a variety of costs including ticket delivery costs, costs associated with taking, processing and fulfilling your ticket booking and the costs associated with the technology used to provide you with our services.

Please read the Resale & Scalping Ticketek Fact Sheet for information on steps to take if you’ve purchased through an unauthorised reseller.

If you cannot attend a performance you hold tickets for, you can re-sell these through Ticketek Marketplace, this is an authorised re-seller and tickets sold or purchased through this site will be accepted at our venue.
What happens if I’ve lost my ticket?
If you have misplaced your tickets or they have been lost in the mail, give the Box Office a call to arrange for replacement tickets to be collected on the night of the performance.
