ABOUT THE ARTIST
Neon is a Brisbane-based event production agency creating transformative experiences that prioritise connection, authenticity, and joy.
Founded by event producer Sarah Ponturo, who spent 20 years producing major Australian festivals including BIGSOUND and Queensland Music Awards, Neon builds community through art, one wild night at a time. Our signature event, One Trick Pony Club, was born in December 2020 on the day lockdown restrictions lifted – a spontaneous, wild, and wonderful variety experience where artists collaborate, audiences celebrate, and hearts run free.
With deep roots in Australia’s creative community and strong relationships across Brisbane’s venues and artists, Neon Events specialises in immersive variety shows, fringe-style experiences, and community-focused music programming. We believe art is medicine, dancing together is radical, and creating spaces where people can be their most expressive selves matters. Love is in the air, magic is everywhere.
